Manager, Sales Development & Sales Coordination ASEAN (North)

Responsibilities:

Sales development & coordination for domestic hot water and air conditioning products within Vietnam and other assigned ASEAN countries:

  • Analyze markets for growth potential, explore and identify market requirements and opportunities, develop & implement market entry strategies in residential and commercial/industrial markets
  • Identify, appoint and coordinate channels & channel partners to extend the sales reach in retail and project business
  • Implement local sales structures
  • Establish local sales teams for assigned countries
  • Execute sales process installation for assigned countries
  • Generate and develop leads, reach out to key prospects via various means (references, cold calling etc.)

Requirements:

Education: Any of the listed below

  • Bachelor / Master in Techno-Commercial Field (Master preferred) (with very strong business and sales & marketing background, see work experience)
  • Bachelor / Master in Engineering (Master preferred) (only in combination with distinctive knowledge in business administration and sales & marketing area which has been proven through a respective position for example in the sales area, see work experience)
  • Bachelor / Master in Business Administration (Master preferred) (only in combination with strong technical background which has been proven through a respective position, e.g. in the sales area of a technical product, see work experience)

Work Experience – Must Have

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an internationally operating sales or business management role within a multi-national company (1st priority: building technology (e.g. domestic hot water, air conditioning) and energy related products, 2nd priority: technical products, technical investment products)
  • Experience with retail business & developers
  • Experience of ASEAN markets
  • Industry contacts in the region
  • Work Experience – Good to Have
  • International exposure (e.g. assignment abroad)
  • Experience as a marketing- or product manager for products in industries mentioned above Languages
  • Mandatory: Proficient oral- and written communication in English, able to lead negotiations in English; fluent in local language (native speaker)
  • Good to have: Knowledge of any other 2nd Asian language or German
