SAP Engineering Manager
The SAP Engineering Manager (Project Manager) is responsible for managing the delivery of SAP projects and supporting sale pursuits of new business opportunities in Vietnam and region. This position provides the opportunity to play a key role in developing and leveraging Company SAP capabilities and resources.
Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions/assets/skills capabilities for SAP projects, practice and new business opportunities.
- Manage SAP implementation or supporting projects.
- Manage and develop local SAP team. Provide senior leadership team with regular project performance status, variances to plan, and identification of corrective actions (if required).
- Fine tune the growth strategy for SAP Practice of Company Vietnam and work with relevant stake holders to implement it.
- Work with company global SAP Practice to bridge the gaps between local and oversea consultants.
Professional Requirements:
- Overall IT experience of more than 7 years is required.
- SAP experience of 05 years minimum is a must.
- Minimum one full life-cycle implementation experience as a Project Manager; client facing with detailed project planning, delivery for each phase and signoff, successful on-time & on-budget go-live and conclusion of post go-live production support. Reporting & tracking EVM for project delivery are required.
- Minimum three full life-cycle implementation experience as a functional/lead consultant (Project Prep to Post go-live support phases) is required.
- Strong domain and SAP experience in one of the areas: FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PS (SAP certification required in current SAP version).
- Excellent communication, client-facing skills and leadership mandatory are requested.
- Good exposure in integration between the different modules of SAP, and interfacing with third party related software are desirable.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- SAP certificates/certified by SAP is a plus.
