Production Manager
Our Client is a global steel manufacturing organisation that produces steel specific products for many industries and is regarded as a leader in many of these markets.
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Salary: US$1800 – US$2500 Gross and other benefits based on the experience
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage throughput of workflow through all resources to achieve customer deliveries, quality standards and company cost targets while acting honestly and with integrity. Striving to maintain reliable partnerships with our customers while protecting their proprietary knowledge.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems (in conjunction with other Management Team members) to allow monitoring and analysis of KPI’s and other Production & Quality related problems.
- Manage costs, overheads, inventory, staffing requirements and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the Production facility.
- Liase with and utilise support from suppliers, and other partners as required.
- Manage a safe workplace without risk to health and in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy Statement and governing legislation.
- Ensure compliance in all tasks to Company QHSE policies and applicable legislative requirements or industry standards.
- Help to manage and develop the company Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with other team members.
- Provide monthly reporting and commentary for insertion into monthly reporting on production activities.
- Report directly to the General Director
Skills & Experience Required
- University degree of Mechanical Engineering/ Manufacturing
- 10 year experience in precision engineering/ manufacturing company
- 3 year experience as Production Manager
- CNC machining of large precision parts
- Good knowledge of metal cutting technology
- Production planning and scheduling
- People management and understanding of Vietnamese labor code
