Sales Director

The Director / Manager is responsible for the P&L of his direct sales channel as well as co-responsible about the P&L of his area of duties for the brand. They will be responsible for the education of the Trade, direct clients, fostering Agents and journalists.

Responsibilities

  • Strong ability to develop a business from scratch. Must be passionate by business development
  • Ability to build-up a strong network of HNW and UHNW directly and indirectly (Fostering Agents) and deliver a recurrent growth (Quantitative & Qualitative)
  • Working with the local marketing dept to generate and conduct a loyalty program for consumers, trade, fostering agents in the region in line with annual targets
  • Building awareness and ensuring front of mind presence for the brand with the distribution network
  • Ability to sell in high end products to the trade and consumers via features and benefit selling.
  • Raising brand awareness and building strong relationships in key on and off premise accounts as well as UHNWI
  • Working agencies to engage and build relations with key media
  • Representing the Brand at key trade, media and consumer events
  • Assisting distributor and wholesaler sales representatives in driving product sales and distribution (with particular focus on top end products)
  • Identify new partnership or product development opportunities for the brand
  • Regular reporting of all activities against targets, competitor and market activity.

Requirements:

  • Preferably French with a strong knowledge of the foreign local culture
  • Able to build up and grow a local network of HNWI and UHNWI (above 30 MUSD under management)
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent presentation and strong communication skills
  • Must embody the luxury values, with a strong personality  with “a story to tell”
  • Fluent in English and in the local dialect
  • Must be willing to travel around (specify the area) and to have a large “Public Relation” life.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team
  • Education Degree (masters preferably)

Optional:

  • Knowing the wine and spirits market and trade
