Cosmetics & Food Supplement Brand Manager

Responsibilities:

Food Supplement

  • Analyze the customer’s needs and develop an appropriate and comprehensive marketing strategy for the Food Supplements range that is in alignment with company’s objectives , local market trend, category portfolio and customer needs.
  • Build the yearly business plan for Food Supplements for all channels (supermarkets, pharmacies and speciality stores)

Cosmetics

  • Develop an appropriate and comprehensive marketing strategy for the 2 current cosmetics brand and identify new brands to grow the cosmetics portfolio

Cost Management

  • Define, develop and make effective use of cost analysis tools.
  • Ensure all brand financial commitment are met (including volume, NTS, GP and BME)
  • Manage and control monthly marketing expenditure in line with budgets
  • Provide feedback to management on cost and cost trends.
  • Review prices and manage them, Control margins of products within the acceptable margin targets

Forecast / Inventory

  • Be responsible of the forecasting process for the Cosmetics and Food Supplements range.
  • Be responsible for the stock immobilization on the cosmetics and food Supplements brands
  • Participate in Company’s monthly forecast cycle with Business Unit Management and Branch & Sales Management as required.
  • Generate and analyse inventory reports for the category / or customer use.
  • Clearly and regularly communicate the customer’s needs to the Supply Chain Management to ensure that Company provides supply chain solutions to be in stock at all time.

Sales & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement launch plan for the Food Supplement range including listing with retailers and full training of sales representatives.
  • Promotional programmes: Develop and recommend promotional programmes and be responsible for the implementation of the communication tools for the sales team.
  • Evaluate promotions and recommend improvements and changes.
  • Negotiate with customers on trade marketing activities (merchandising, gondola ends, special events…) in collaboration with the Sales manager.
  • Develop co-op advertising schedule in agreement with retailers to support promotions.
  • Set up pricing promotions. Present and ensure their executions with the buyers.
  • Develop briefs documents towards design, packaging and communication/advertising agencies and manage the agencies all year round.
  • CRM: Implement a system to gather consumer insights and ensure relevant insights are adopted in communication strategies and new products launches.
  • Brand exposure: Develop a strong relationship with the media and retailers to get extra exposure and support the brand
  • Follow up on sales leads

Customer Service

  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
  • Represent Company’s team in a professional manner during customer meetings, audits, presentations and conference calls.
  • Anticipate and meet/exceed customer expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively. Make customer issues a priority.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by BU Manager.

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years in marketing, focusing on branding
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus
